Mar 25, 2026"This isn't a place where most tourists without a local resident or guide would go since the place isn't touristy and just a small restaurant. I happened to come here with my friend, who was born in Bukittinggi and he asked me to taste the fried rice (nasi goreng). The nasi goreng has a unique taste when compared to other kinds of nasi goreng in Indonesia. It has a slight taste of celery which I don't think that most Indonesian nasi goreng would make use of celery as the ingredient. The celery adds to the fresh taste to nasi goreng. Other than that, there is nothing special with this nasi goreng. Even marketed as a beef nasi goreng, I could hardly find the beef inside the nasi goreng. On top of it, they add fried egg and some garnish of cucumber and salad which I always expect for a plate of nasi goreng. Overall, this place is okay if you want to taste a nasi goreng with a celery taste."
